Making dreams a reality with a High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) for adult learners and Skills for English, a qualification that enables speakers of other languages to demonstrate their knowledge of English language for a range of purposes, including work, study and settlement.

Fulfill potential with our leading High School Equivalency (HSE) test

HiSET offers an alternative to a US high school diploma, by enabling students to earn a state-issued high school equivalency (HSE) credential. Through HiSET, test takers demonstrate they have the knowledge and skills equivalent to a high school graduate – unlocking a variety of educational and career opportunities. HiSET covers the core areas of Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Flexible computer based testing is offered in a proctored test center or at home with online proctoring.

Skills for English is a suite of English language tests used for work, study and residency purposes – the result of a partnership between the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and PSI.

Mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), Skills for English is widely accepted for international academic admissions. It is also used to demonstrate progression in English language proficiency and for career improvement purposes. The suite includes tests approved by the UK Home Office for visa and immigration applications.

Easy to prepare for, highly accessible and delivered in a single session, the tests are available through our network of test centers in over 130 countries outside of the UK, as well as the option to test at home with online proctoring.
