How to get started
GI Bill Funding
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides eligible Service members and Veterans with financial assistance for licensing and certification through the GI Bill. It covers up to $2,000 per test for an unlimited number of tests. To enable Service members and Veterans to receive GI Bill reimbursement for your exam fees, your organization must seek approval from the State Approving Agency in the state where your headquarters is located.
Services' Credential Program Funding
Each branch of the military has a credentialing program that covers specific fees related to certification and licensure, with policies unique to each service. The credentials and associated costs covered can be found on the respective branch’s Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) websites, accessible through DOD COOL.
Program Verification
Verify your program’s inclusion through the VA’s Web Enabled Approval Management System.
How our on-base testing coordination process works
To ensure a smooth and compliant testing experience on military bases, we require coordination and adherence to specific protocols. Here’s what you need to know:
- Advance notice: Please provide at least 30 days’ notice to facilitate proper coordination and scheduling.
- Statement of work (SOW): All testing sites must complete a Statement of Work. This document is crucial to mitigate risks and clarify responsibilities, ensuring a seamless operation that aligns with PSI standards.
- Program-specific forms: Depending on the certification program, special forms may be required. These are designed to address unique aspects of the testing process and must be completed prior to test administration.
- Software compliance: Testing sites must comply with our delivery software requirements. This ensures compatibility and security, maintaining the integrity of the testing process.
By following these guidelines, we can provide a consistent and secure testing environment for all service members.
