Manny is a consulting assessment, educational, and research expert with several years of experience with licensure and certification organizations and over 30 years of experience developing assessments and competency models.

As the Founder and President of Assessment, Education, and Research Experts (AERE), Manny brings over 30 years of experience in assessment development, psychometrics, and competency modeling for licensure and certification organizations.

He has held leadership roles at NBME, Prometric, GBCI, and ICA, leading initiatives in psychometrics, performance-based assessments, stackable credentials, and research & evaluation. An industry leader, Manny has served on multiple ANSI, ATP, and ICE committees, contributing to credentialing standards and policies.

With a doctorate in Educational Psychology from Temple University and an M.A. in Counseling from NYU, Manny blends expertise in assessment science and group facilitation. A dedicated educator and thought leader, he has taught at Penn State, Johns Hopkins, USC, and GWU, published books and articles, and even presented to a Congressional Subcommittee on the value of credentials.
