It’s been a busy year. The PSI team and our partners have achieved so much. Before we move forward into 2025, it’s important to take a moment and look back at the hard work and many successes of 2024.
Our top four from 2024
1. Building a unified platform for growth
In 2024, we completed our investment in creating a modern, scalable technology stack. This took us from five different entry points for test takers to a single point of access, one remote proctoring platform, and a single cloud-based technology stack serving all our test centers. Now, with one click of a button, we can make updates and introduce innovations across all our systems.
The process started in 2020. We knew it was going to be tough, and it was going to take time. But it was critical that we did it. Building the technology was relatively easy – the hard bit was moving clients across. We appreciate that it was difficult for many of our clients, and we’re grateful to them for going through it with us. We can now all reap the rewards.
- By streamlining processes and addressing pain points, the modern technology has already positively impacted both clients and test takers with over half a million fewer friction points this year, driving substantial improvements in client and test taker satisfaction.
- Test taker call volumes dropped, while test taker satisfaction ratings with our call center increased and clients experienced fewer challenges, with a reduction in the number of service tickets reflecting the impact of operational efficiencies.
2. A record year for testing volumes
PSI achieved our most successful year for testing volumes in 2024, with over 22 million test takers served and an impressive 100% net renewal rate of customers.
3. Growing practice test revenue
Practice test revenue grew by 36% year on year, driven by the popular PSI Test Prep app on the App Store. The app boasts over 2,000 ratings with an average score of 4.8 out of 5.
4. Innovations in AI
In 2024, we took bold strides in leveraging AI to revolutionize test delivery, test preparation, and test content development.
This included launching our strategic partnership with Memorang at a pivotal PSI Credentialing Leaders’ Summit event at the ICE Conference in Miami in November. As well as a partnership with Entrust to improve test security against the evolving threats of deepfake and digital forgeries.

2025 is going to be another big year. Here’s just a taster of our ambitious goals and priorities for the year to come.

- Our test security roadmap for 2025 includes the rollout of program-specific generative AI agents and behavior-based user interface enhancements, aimed at delivering a more intuitive and seamless test-taker experience.

- With PSI Test Prep, we are offering clients the opportunity to create revenue-generating, fully branded apps on the App Store, customized to their programs.

- Enhanced test delivery platforms will set a new benchmark for test center experiences and online proctoring, focusing on operational efficiencies powered by AI.

- Security enhancements on top of our existing suite of test security tools include advanced ID verification, deepfake detection, and real-time data forensics.
Of course, finding a new home with ETS was a landmark event in 2024. One that gives us the opportunity to make long-term decisions around investment across key areas – people, processes and technology.
The combined strengths of PSI and ETS are transforming the future of assessments, setting new benchmarks for scalability, security, and innovation. Our partnership goes beyond testing, focusing on equipping test takers with durable skills like problem solving, critical thinking, and adaptability – lifelong competencies essential for success in a dynamic workforce.
